Best Camping Shower Tent

Though I love to camp and can spend weeks in a tent, I admit that I like to be clean. Having a river or lake to jump into during a long camping trip helps, but as someone who is very active while camping, the opportunity to use soap every few days is preferred.

As my children have gotten older, our camping trips have gotten longer and our accommodations more remote and rustic. While they love not having to shower for multiple days, I admit I miss the option of the coin operated showers of the developed campgrounds we visited when the kids were younger. This has led me to look into finding the best camping shower tent so that I may enjoy a shower in the wilderness.

Reviews of Best Camping Shower Tent

Fortunately, there are a lot of options available if you are looking to purchase a camping shower tent. As I begin reviewing what is out there, I consider that I will likely need to narrow down what is most important for our family in order to make a decision on which one to purchase.

When seeking a camping shower tent, one can consider how much room they are looking for as well as whether the tent includes the shower itself. The following will include camping shower tent reviews for a variety of options in different price ranges.

Ozark Trail Instant 2-Room Shower

The first option I will consider is the Ozark Trail Instant 2-Room Shower. Advertised to be set up in seconds, this “Instant Shower/Utility Shelter” offers plenty of room at 7 feet by three and a half feet in size and is made of polyester and steel. A five-gallon solar heated shower is included.

One of the two roomsare for showering and the other is for changing. While your privacy is assured with coated fabric, there is a mesh drain in the shower space and mesh for ventilation. There is even a towel rack and toiletries holder.

  • A separate changing room that allows you to keep your change of clothes from getting wet
  • Includes a rainfly that you can use to keep your shower dry in inclement weather
  • Pre-attached instant frame design allowsyou to set the product up quickly and easily

Leapair Pop-Up Shower Tent

Significantly less expensive than the Ozark Trail Instant 2-Room Shower is the Leapair Pop-Up Shower Tent. While this camping shower enclosure does not contain a second room, this option is spacious at 6 feet 3 inches by 3 feet and 4 inches. This shower tent is said to be easy to set up and break down with no tent poles and it is made of waterproof taffeta polyester and flexible steel.

A large door with a zipper offers easy access to the space and a zippered window offers good ventilation. No shower is included with the Leapair Pop-Up Shower Tent and would have to be purchased separately.

Features:

  • Easy set-up with no tent poles
  • The tent has an open bottom which helps to keep it clean
  • Steel frame is rust resistant

Stinky Pete 1 Person Deluxe Shower

Priced between the two previous options, the Stinky Pete 1 Person Deluxe Shower offers the most height of the three options at 7 and a half feet, with 16 square feet of space to shower. The shower is made of polyester and steel and includes a rainfly like the Ozark Trail model.

Like the Leapair Pop-Up Shower Tent, a shower is not included with the Stinky Pete 1 Person Deluxe shower and would need to be purchased separately. A large zippered door makes entering and exiting the shower easy.

Features:

  • Plenty of height (7.5 feet)
  • 16 square feet of shower space
  • Includes tent poles but is said to be easy to set up

Texsport Portable Deluxe Camp Shower Shelter

Priced similarly to the Leapair Pop-Up Shower Tent is the Texsport Portable Deluxe Camp Shower Shelter. This option offers a height of over 7 feet and 21 square feet of shower space. The walls are made of heavy duty polyurethane coated taffeta and the shelter includes a removable polyurethane floor.

There is a large zippered door for easy access and mesh panels offer ventilation. A rainfly is included as well as a mesh shower rack and a removable hanging towel bar. A five-gallon sun shower is also included, making the Texsport Portable Deluxe Camp Shower Shelter a great value.

  • 21 square feet of shower space means you won’t be cramped
  • A removable floor makes cleaning easy
  • Includes a 5-gallon sun shower

PARTYSAVING 6 FT Portable Privacy Outdoor Pop-up Room Tent Camping Shower

The PARTYSAVING 6 FT Portable Outdoor Pop-Up Room Tent Camping Shower is the most economical of the options reviewed, though it is on the small side with just over eight square feet of shower space. The frame is made of Dura-light steel and the tent is made of waterproof polyester.

A large double zipper door lets you easily enter and exit the camping shower shelter and it promises to be easy to set up and put away. The PARTYSAVING 6 FT Portable Privacy Outdoor Pop-Up Room Tent Camping Shower does not include a shower, which would have to be purchased separately.

Features:

  • Great price
  • May be a cramped space for showering

As the reviews have shown, there are some excellent options available when you are seeking a camping shower tent. Before I can make a decision, I will have to determine what is most important for my family in regards to both price and features.

Available options in a camping shower tent include a separate room for changing, a towel rack, toiletry holder and mesh panels for ventilation and some of them work as a bathroom tent as well. There is a wide variety in price and size among the camping showers reviewed ensuring that there is an option available to meet varying needs.
